    Not long had a great storm in Mansfield - frequent thunder and lightning along with hail - followed it back up to warsop IMG_8243.mov Looking northeast from Warsop towards Retford

    I’m hoping to head out tonight to see the aurora - any thoughts on where might be a good place to head? I live north of Mansfield so was thinking of heading up into the Peak District. Any thoughts on good spots that won’t have me driving most of the way to Manchester? Ideally with a good view north

    I live just north of Mansfield and our local weather station has reported 73.6mm in the last 24 hours. Our river (Meden) has caused flooding to local properties. A few photos below
