I can confirm that Portsmouth hasn’t had 1 flake even though the radar says it’s snow.. -
Haha possibly. I lived up almondsbury road the year that Portsmouth got a dumping! Was brillant kids loved it.

Started snowing again here, a lot better than this morning!

Light fluffies here in Portsmouth for last 25 min. It’s really light then picks up a little bit back to light again in the blink of an eye. that’s twice now since end nov I’ve seen a few flakes fall from the sky. Hopefully 3rd time lucky later in month!

I wouldn’t worry. My met office app has changed about 15 times this morning from sleet, snow , rain and sunshine.

I actually don’t mind if it doesn’t lay (although it would be lovely!) I would just love to see some flakes falling!! But seeing as I’m right on the coast I’m probably clutching at straws! good luck everyone,I hope you at least get some of the white stuff falling in your area.

Light snow here at moment, starting to get a fine dusting on cars LOL might need my eyes testing its just a dirty car I was looking at.. Yep not dusting cars yet!!! . Looking at the radar it looks like that lot in the East is heading my way.. Hope it's a full covering, although I'm just happy to see it falling!!

Finally after nothing Tuesday and no rain or sleet or anything all day here in Portsmouth.. i think its actually snowing very lightly, or it could be sleet.. having a hard time trying to see, what with these new street lamps.

Winds picked up again here, seems the rain/sleet/hail (not quite sure what it was but sounded like it was rain/hail.) we had for the past half hour has stopped.

Hoping this main event dumps a good amount of snow on Portsmouth, So far we must be the only place in the UK which hasn't had a complete covering of snow. Fingers & toes crossed..
