Showers firing off the north sea, lets us pray?

Those showers on the radar were about to hit levenshulme, and disappear, sky absolutely clear. Can see the moon clear as anything.

I'm new to this forum but are the majority of people in the model discussion situated in the South? As i seem to notice a lot of people saying the outlook is bad, but its half decent for the north, regarding my interests?

All those exaggerated weather articles from newspapers like "500 foot snow, -120 degrees on the way", is actually about to come to reality for once ??

Very cold already in manchester, cannot begin to think what next week will be like.
