  1. Calm…… simmer…… exeter still sticking to their guns. Alot yet to be resolved…. Plenty of time for upgrades. Still in the hunt.
  2. I don’t mean to dampen the mood but the epic charts being shown are well beyond the reliable. Cross model agreement and buy in from Exeter is noteworthy but severity and longevity of any cold spell can be watered down over the next 10 days or so. Here’s hoping it isnt but no harm maybe just tempering those expectations for a few more days if possible until we get into the semi-reliable!!!!
  3. I seldom comment but love your inputs @Kasim Awan . Ive just added some imagery/media below dating back to the big snow of 2018 here in Ireland to wet everyone’s appetite. At the time I thought this was a once in a generation event. But who knows, its a long time since ive seen such cold/blocky potential for the month of January, maybe the winter of 2024 will be one that we will be talking about for years to come. There still remains no reference to a return to unsettled conditions in Exeters extended outlook. I think this is massive. They appear bullish, analysing each and every model run is a little head wrecking. But the general theme and form horse going forward is cold, with the potential for something even more appetising if luck is on our side. IMG_4312.mov
  4. In fairness, Exeter generally have a good handle on things. Their extended outlook remains positive from a coldie perspective! We have a chase, we are blessed to have one approaching the depths of winter which is seldom the case for the UK and Ireland. A cold snap looks likely at this point. Let us see can we get something more prolonged/severe!
  5. Great to have a chase, that’s what we are all here for! Positive update/upgrade from Exeter tomorrow and i will start to get excited!
  6. Hi guys, Love this group, i have never posted before. This will be my one and only contribution as I don’t have the same level of knowledge as you guys!! Just to reiterate we can get significant snow deposits in March! Granted, it would typically need to come in the form of a beast!! Attached imagery is from March 1st 2018 from Daingean, Ireland (Midlands).
