  1. I did hear the BBC forecast earlier mention this. It was at lunchtime and she was mentioning the systems tail end will clip the south east....she then went on to show the snow in exactly the same area as it has been showing for a while. The very next forecast she didn’t mention it clipping, so I am guessing she reconsidered her terminology I think she was trying to say that it was a large system, and it won’t all come here....that’s what I thought she meant anyway, but as I say, she didn’t say it half an hour later on the next forecast. Hope that makes sense not very good at explaining weather related things....love watching them though
  2. No idea....I have no idea how any of this works, I just love snow and get excited whenever it’s on the horizon
  3. Just seen on Twitter that Dan Holley is speculating that the big news that is about to break (reference that tweet about news coming out in the hour) is possibly a named storm from the Dutch (KNMI whatever that is)...no idea what this means? Is that going to be good for us?
  4. Tight isobars it’s great to see you. I was wondering where you were as I hadn’t seen your posts recently. I very rarely post, but I always lurk and really enjoy your take on things
  5. Hopefully it will move your way we have been snow starved since the Beast......fingers crossed you get your share, good luck! X
  6. Has been snowing here (between Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds) since 7am, has been settling really well despite the wet ground. Here is a photo.....
  7. Still snowing near Newmarket, steady snow for 2 hrs. Just been out to measure it and we have 2cm so far. Husband thought I was mad going out with my tape measure
