They are really great dogs, don’t see too many about now and we had to wait a year to get him. They never stop though, even with two good walks a day he wants more. But a lovely temperament and good with kids. ?

Currently 5.8c here. Rain very heavy all day. We are higher up in Tutbury but many low lying villages have flooding. My gauge measuring 23.8mm of rain in the last 24 hours.

So it’s currently 6.4c and cloudy a big turnaround from this time yesterday when it was -1c. At least the fog has gone, but so has most of the snow except for the drifts. I would give this winter a 7/10. Like the Stoke members we seem to be in a snow desert here. December was a big disappointment, so close to getting something good but about 15 miles too far north. This latest spell has rescued winter for me but now I am looking forward to spring and getting back in the garden.

Morning, well had about 3cm last night which was good. Rain first thing washed a lot away and now the fog is coming down. Temp 1.9c

Very disappointing evening. Only a light dusting and you can’t really tell because the wind has whipped it into the drifts. Maybe a surprise fall come morning....

Just getting going here. Very fine but covering the cars and the bare patches. Radar doesn’t look too proming. But can’t complain snowed for 8 hours yesterday and we have some great drifts just outside the village.
