    So much for the cold air not being easily able to be pushed away by the Atlantic… The Atlantic will ALWAYS find a way through, as that’s our default weather pattern. It seems no amount of blocking will prevent it and milder air getting through.

    Normal service has resumed here in the Midlands. Cold, grey and very wet. In fact we have several hours of rain forecast from now until Tuesday. Grim.

    We’ve had fog/mist here in Leicester since mid-afternoon. Is freezing fog expected tonight?

    There’s already been a big reduction in temperatures forecast by the BBC for this week over the past 24 hours, for my area. Just look at those temperatures! I think in-land locations, away from coastal areas, are going to be very cold this week. Particularly at night.

    Today has been chilly, dull and misty. Extremely gloomy feeling. At least it’s dry though.

    It was drizzling mid-day today and from my own personal experience, it was chilly. Had to put the heater on in the car. There are lots of variables when it comes to the weather. Simply looking online and seeing what the temperature says it no ‘proper’ way to see how it feels, without actually going outside/being in the elements.

    Yep. It makes the thread far too thin and is distracting whilst scrolling. Needs removing asap.

    I’m definitely not keen on this. It makes the threads too narrow and it’s also distracting seeing various pieces of content appear on the side whilst scrolling. Would like an option to disable it please.
