Stroud right on the southern edge of the new MO warnings for Saturday. Still a chance of some snow I reckon

Large flakes of snow coming down now in Stroud, Glos and starting to settle. Very dark sky so hopefully will carry on for a bit.

Looking at the latest GFS 12z run here in Glos I remain optimistic we will see a couple of cms of snow, Sunday/Monday. Then comes much greater chance Thursday/friday

For us Stroudies I reckon Sat will be sleet unless you are on higher ground. Sunday looks better as by then we are under colder air.

Met office warnings for snow and ice now in place for Mon, Tues and Wed for pretty much most of England and Wales.

I'm in Gloucestershire and since the post I am in the met office warning area for snow on Sat though quite close to southern limit.

Any thoughts on potential snow event for Saturday, showing up particularly by Arpege?
