Is there not too much vortex lobe over Greenland though? That would surpress any attempt of those atlantic heights amplification
Yep, once again the PV looks to be split.. but always a lobe of PV left in the place we don’t want !!

He’s been pretty good the last couple of games, apparently outstanding in the one sided draw we scraped at Brighton and a lot of the goals scored against us wouldn’t have been stopped by two keepers.
His confidence is improving but TBH it’s Kompany’s insistence that we play out from the back like City but without City’s quality that causes most of the squeaky bum moments.
oh and not to mention the 19 million we paid for him with no proven experience
A few years ago you’d never hear Burnley and 19 million mentioned in the same sentence
He will come good pal. I’ve seen him pull off world class saves.. you’ve got to remember he’s still a kid.

I feel sorry for our ex keeper James Trafford. This lad is fantastic but his confidence must be shattered at the moment. Just hope Burnley fans give him time

And no further West though.
Correct again, Kasim. The showers from the East or North East die a death after leaving my area.. we can have a good covering here. Yet just down the road in Wigan they have nowt.

Rare for Bolton area to do particularly well from the Irish Sea because winds are rarely WSW and there is no streamer forming area in that flow such as the Mersey.
Agreed. That’s why I prefer a NE’ly or Easterly. Contrary to belief the showers do reach this far.

Hope so !
High stakes for Xmas weekend let's hope it goes our way ..
A WNW’ly and we could be looking at a slush fest. a NNW’ly and we can miss the showers as you rightly know.. no win situation mate lol

looking at Cheshire Gap flow from 24th to 26th, in 2004 it was on perfect angle for here NW'ly on 25 Dec, if winds WNW'ly then pasting in SK4, NNW in Telford/Shrops,
A WNW’ly will greatly bring Greater Manchester in to the firing line. But it also has its perils for us.

Haha we live in the North West of England.. the Irish Sea is our Nemesis. That’s why we need an Easterly or a North Easterly in our region.

My mum has been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer last week and has a growth on her kidney so suffice to say it's been a worrying time lately and they aren't sure how long she has left. Didn't want to put a dampner on this thread before the snow arrived so didn't say anything. Been here there and everywhere with her for tests, scans and biopsies over the last few weeks. Been a kick in the teeth really as she's never seen me truly happy in my life so far as I've had a lot of problems. Just as I was getting my life on track more than ever before we got this bad news. Feel bad that I've not really had long with her as she had me at nearly 44 and I'm 38 now. One thing I'll say though is your mum wouldn't want you to be sad forever about her, this is what my mum said to me the other day. She said live your life Gareth I've had mine, I don't want you to be sad about me all the time after I go as it's not what I would've wanted for you, this made me feel a bit better. Like @Had Worsesays time is a healer as well.
Sorry to hear your sad news

It’s all up hill from Wigan to Bolton so if it’s snowing heavy there then it’s a whiteout here
