Noticed it too with the week ahead forecast, apparently it's going to turn "much colder" all the way down to 7c for the south east Hate how they always quote city temps and barely ever state rural areas, 7c maybe for central london but elsewhere will struggle to see 3 or 4, still it is a few days away yet, maybe they will get their act together

How much do you charge for your straight lines? Last time mine was cut it looked like a drunk hobo zoomed up and down at 50mph

No way to tell this far out, it's 12 days away, even the captains crystal ball isn't that good! It'll likely be cold, nobody knows how cold, but best to view the charts 1 or 2 days before to see any potential snowfall

You better hope the easterly comes off then! Otherwise Chloe will go bang lol

I've never had issues with a whole loaf of frozen bread, slight prize with a knife and a slice comes off easy enough. My family freeze milk too, even in the summer I don't like the taste of defrosted milk for some reason?! Does anyone else notice a difference Funny how an easterly brings on a food discussion lol

Just for the memories (even though I wasn't born) here's a few images I've found online from the snow in 87' all taken in Southend

Bugger, mum asked for the forecast for today to stick a whole load of washing out, checked the radar and it looked clearish, forecast showed zero chance of rain all day on nw, went to check the radar again and that hail band looks to have intensified and will clip me here but only just! Sods law better get the stuff back in in a mo, now that she's at work

The temperature is still dropping like a ton of bricks, down to 2.5c now (this is the lowest reading in my local area) Other stations show similar drops, that's almost a 2c drop in 40 minutes!?! Dew points have been good enough most of the day going by radar overlay for snow but the temp was a tad high, we're getting into a better range now though. Surprised how fast the temperature is dropping, the colder uppers must be crawling over our region now, and with the ppn helping faster mixing to the surface?
