Making the most of it before the snoozefest autumn dreary rains set in.
Is that all you ever drone on about, the impending doom that is autumn/winter? Over the last week you've mentioned your dislike of the upcoming seasons at least 4 times, its getting a bit boring. I don't particularly like summer and warm weather but I don't complain about it!

Absolute crap day.
Raining and only up to 12c here on 26th August.
How anyone can turn this autumn/winter like day into a positive needs their head testing.
Its summer!!! 6 months of this crud ahead...
Had to put the heating on today... wrong on so many levels.
Least those complaining that 24c was to oppressive in a summer month will be happy.
At least it keeps the kids off the streets, there's a positive for you

Is this the house you're buying before the big move

But it's summer! Makes no sense!
Summer heat is fine as long as the heat isn't oppressive and stuck in a never ending pattern, I like variety, I would welcome another heatwave at the end of the month as long as its no longer than a week long and we have some kind of decent breakdown.

Some odd alignment issues on the sticky notes page I've found. Google Chrome & Windows 10, not tested in edge or on a tablet yet.

Hi is there a way you can stop seeing someone’s posts?
On the PC, hover over their username with your cursor at the side of any of their posts and a drop down menu will appear for profile/stats, just select ignore user, or go to your account settings and the ignored users tab, you can do it from there too

Had a few cracks and flashes now in pitsea, some heavy rain and what I think was a bit of hail, dying down now
-
A new cell looks to be forming over brentwood way, also some new sferics to the north showing up on lightningmaps, one which I heard
-
Thunder heard in Pitsea. distant rumble

I'd like to know what happened to to cool down! Still 25c here some places expecting 35c next week, no rain for my area forecast until the 30th! That'll be 8 weeks
On a side note I did manage to cut the grass and get the sprinkler on it last night, although I forgot to turn it off when I went to sleep, probably wasted about 2000 litres overnight lol.

Could be a hot one tomorrow (well later today actually). High starting tenperatures with fairly stagnant air.
Hope not, yesterday was bad enough!

Well they've issued plenty of warning for storms over the years so that statement isn't correct.
I think he means now we will be getting separate warnings for rain / thunderstorms, not just rain, I did briefly read the article but cannot find it now, it was on the BBC

Are the council expecting ice? What forecast have they been watching

There's a Rochester cell? Where? Looks like it's going to rain but hot and sunny now.
Just to the north of rochester, not thundery but looking like torrential rain or hail, and moving northwards
-
Rochester cell isn't going anywhere fast, could be some flooding from that, preying it doesn't come this way Half way digging out a iron pole in the garden don't need it flooded!
And it looks like it's on the move! I better get digging.

I was going to edit my post to dumb it down a little before I went to bed but it was too late to edit, so sorry if it looked as if I had cherry picked your post, I hadn't read many of the others but know they do this too, but it was quite annoying seeing the same statement over and over again about the impending gloom. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with people having preferences, I have my own, but I don't actively mention it in almost every post. Rant over
