  1. Same here currently in Pitsea, have had a few 30-40mph gusts earlier in the day but very quiet right now.
  2. wibbleed off the NHS, going private instead with the priory again, assessment on the 23rd then into rehab :]

  3. Naming storms isn't for everyone, and at the same time the Irish met/ and UKMO can get it wrong, but it gives the general public a little more awareness, it's easily shareable on social media with a name to spread awareness. The trouble we may find is when Storm "Grace" hits and causes no issues, Storm "Harry" May hit, and give major impacts, this makes it inconsistent, and if there's enough named storms that don't have much of an effect, when something damaging comes along people aren't going to take notice.
  4. Finally got some quetiapine ☺️ just 50mg starter and increase 25 per day, until 450, stay steady until march, then reassessment on the 5th

mainly for schizophrenia / bipolar but also good for depression and sleep I have none of that but wanted something stronger to calm the intrusive thoughts and to help me sleep, dad came down the clinic with me at the assessment and they wouldn't do anything when I asked them, so he sat in there for 7 hours asking for the doctor every half hour, they eventually gave in an put me on the quetiapine, , it was the key worker that suggested it but doctors were hesitant due to it being addictive, have to see the GP every week until my next detox to make sure theres no issues, otherwise I'll be taken off of it and put on something else

Meant I have none of the schiz or bipolar lol ^^^^, depression and sleep issues are what the new pills are being used for, been taken off of everything else until I can get my mind straight and the drink down enough for certain meds to work

  5. Before the downwelling ends it'll end up in australia, and they will damn well end up stealing our cold
  6. Found the last set of keys 😄 Put them in a bag with all the window spacers! Have to hunt for the shed keys today, which I lost yesterday. Seem to be on an endless mission of losing and looking for keys Lol

Probably faster just to grind the padlock off and buy a new one, instead of having the mower destroyed by water leakage lol

is your mower an AI one, hopefully, it can become self-aware and move itself

Lol the last thing anyone needs are self aware lawn mowers, wake up in the middle of the night with an arm missing

  7. Looks like we'll have to put up with the guess from the west until then, hopefully more than just a dusting tonight though, unlike the last 2 tuesdays! I actually had a brief snow pellet shower yesterday shortly after 3pm, for all of about 30 seconds lol
  8. Lost another set of keys 🤬 Off to the house to go hunting for them, I want my memory back 😕

Lol I am preying for snow, if we get a load of rain it'll just freeze into ice overnight and make friday morning hell

  9. Like stated from previous days, this event was so marginal it'd affect some areas and not others, try and chill out about it, it's not the end of the world! Regarding Thursday there's still a lot to be sorted within the forecast, I've just seen some people posting that we're looking between 5-10cm, yet some models want to give rain to the SE, and snow to Norfolk, the weather will do as it wants, Just keep the faith!
  10. According to radar the band is back building in intensity, still not heavy or persistent enough here to settle though at 2c, ground is also very damp too
  11. Snowing in Pitsea so should be about to turn to snow in Southend within the next few minutes, not great intensity though, I've not yet got a dusting and the main band has already passed me lol
  12. Anybody know how often the dam lines on meteocentre update? I thought they updated in time with pressure, but the lines are still the same since I posted at 6am?!
  13. 528 dam line has now cleared the south coast on the latest pressure charts
  14. At least both have a good deal of mobility
  15. Yep we're up to 120hrs http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/ecmwf.php?ech=72&mode=1&map=3&type=0&archive=0
  16. Hope the models get that one sorted out soon! Will need to know whether to buy a sledge or a canoe to stock up on supplies
  17. I'm such an idiot, spent the last hour searching the flat for my keys, then see a text on my phone from the doctors stating I left them on the GP's desk, can't go to pick them up cos I can't lock the door 🙄 Both parents at work all day too, think I'll have to get a neighbour to look after the flat and spend a £20 taxi trip to pick them up 😕 gah.. why am I talking to myself 🤪

I have done the same thing last Saturday when I lost my keys in my flat.  Luckily, I found them on the floor in the front room as they must fallen out of my bag.  I am always losing things and finding them in strange places.

Haha, keys are one of the worst things to lose, I was going out my mind with worry thinking I'd have to cancel all my appointments next week if I couldn't find them, living in a council flat the council charge £25 for a new set and don't hand them out during weekends! Luckily my mum picked up the keys for me yesterday during GP extended hours, should have them back with me today!

  18. Past T+120 very tasty to my untrained eye, uppers below -5 and low pressure hovering around, still waiting for the run to complete on meteociel
