  1. The island of Tenerife, also known as the place of eternal spring, where the weather is good all year round. However, the high season begins in October and lasts until the end of April, when it starts to look good in Europe. Generally speaking, the weather is more sunny in the south and rather cloudy in the north. The climate in Tenerife is so impressive that in December or January you can walk on the snow on Teide in the morning and go swimming at the beach in the afternoon! The variety of microclimates offered by this island makes it possible to satisfy the whole family. A typically Canary climatic phenomenon is "calima". It is a strong wind carrying sand and dust from the Sahara. Calima can cause allergies and respiratory problems so it is recommended to monitor the weather and especially the wind direction with an application that you can download on Google Play to be updated in real time. As for the temperature of the water of the sea, it is often between 19 and 25 degrees, making bathing pleasant and inevitable! For people wishing to climb to the Teide peak and/or planning to spend the night there, it is strongly advised to take warm clothes with you as it is often less than 10 degrees at the top.
