  1. Same here, the lovely cloud came along after we reached 24c early afternoon and a nice fresh breeze has blown in. Can’t see us getting a storm here Saturday unfortunately, rain likely though.
  2. Somewhere for me to come moan as I melt and my skin feels on fire as summer approaches whilst others are rambling on about ‘it’s not that hot’ ‘we don’t get it often, stop complaining’ etc.
  3. Have appreciated the breeze the last few days, knocked the temps down a bit, not being a lover of heat Im dreading it if we are due to reach the 30s this week. The last couple of nights have felt sticky to me, been lovely to go out in the early morning with it feeling chillier with the wind. I should move to alaska.
  4. Chilly start again this morning, but now sunny blue skies, with a light breeze, so not a bad day here. Sunday morning looking very wet and maybe, maybe a little bit of thunder n lightening
  5. Absolutely torrential downpour here over the last hour, roads flooded, hail mixed in, didnt hear any thunder, although the sound of the rain might have drowned it out if there was any!
  6. Very chilly overnight, some light frost in shaded sheltered areas at 6am this morning, should have worn a coat, but wasnt expecting it to be so cold! Hazy cloud setting in again already this morning and the first half of the week looks bleak for this time of year.
  7. Rain arrived around 9am here and looks to be staying for a lot of the day least the gardens will like it. Temp 16c.
  8. Yeah I was sceptical, around 1.30 I did wake to a dog starring at me and assumed he'd heard something, but as he didnt make a fuss I concluded it couldnt have been much. Cloudy morning again this morning, feeling muggy and rain on the way (maybe miss us depends on direction it goes), temp 12c.
  9. According to my neighbour, there was a flash and rumble around midnight, she thinks, but clearly wasnt loud enough to wake the woof....thankfully.
  10. Well the grounds wet, so we had rain, personally didnt hear anything during the night, or more importantly, I was not woken by the dog having a meltdown, so assume we got nothing here, anybody in the area hear anything?
  11. Hope you n son doing ok now I too am anticipating dog meltdown half the night, not looking forward to that, usually like a good storm, but tonight hoping it misses us.
  12. If we are to get a storm tomorrow night, as some forecasts are showing, it would be flaming typical as it’s the one night I could do with sleep, got two job interviews on Thursday so need to look awake! First job interviews in over 20Yrs, due to full time caring responsibilities for 18 yrs. nervous enough without being half asleep. So s*ds law we get them.
  13. Well no storm overnight (didnt expect it), no rain either. Cloudy today, with rain showing on the radar, albeit light, but nothing reaching the ground levels. Dont think we will see any light show tonight either, although slightly more chance of some rain. Today was supposed to be warm, sunny and 22c, but its dull, cloudy and 18c.
  14. Yep, its a fairy brisk SW wind, shame as it would be a lovely day outside without it, temps here 17c.
  15. Here in the triangle, dont be daft, even if they came close, you can 99.99% guarantee they'd jump over us and out to sea
  16. Yesterday from lunchtime to past 7pm it was rain, from drizzle to on and off heavy the whole time. I know we 'need' rain but it was a horrible soggy day. This morning, the sun is shining and temps are slowly rising, currently 14c.
  17. Wasnt expecting to wake to a grass frost this morning, the sun is shining so it wont last long.
  18. Grotty morning, overcast with light rain showers, now seemed to have gone far enough south of us and maybe a slight glimpse of sun at some point.
  19. Been a lovely warm day, high of 22c apparently, but the cloud has rolled in over the last hour and dropped to 21c and I have to ask, why are the wasps out so early this year? Hate them, nasty useless creatures.
  20. The morning started lovely and started to feel pleasantly warm by 11am, but since gone rapidly downhill, thick dark cloud has filled the skies
  21. We lost the sunshine yesterday late afternoon and its been cloudy muck so far today, feeling cold today, even though the wind has subsided a bit, temp 9c. Looking like a few cloudy days before the sun makes a return into the weekend, hopefully forecast is wrong, gotten quite used to having the warmth of the sun.
