  1. For me its always warmest after 4pm. The sun also shines into the house during the evenings, heating the room up even more.
  2. I'm seeing frightening similarities lol. This is how 3 page brawl kicked off over the SSW in Feb
  3. Agreed. Sod the storm potential. Enough people have suffered damage to their homes already.
  4. The ITV granada weather is even worse. Said it would be 20c here today. Yeah...at 11am...
  5. Still 19c here and bloody stifling. In what world is that pleasant? I'm with matthew above. At least in that scenario the nights would cool. There is nothing more oppressive than a humid feed from good old europe.
  6. Its still 19c here and bloody stifling. How anyone could find that pleasant is beyond me
  7. Agreed. Hopefully it'll have a breakdown before I do. I'd even take a UK high over this.
  8. As expected its absolutely stifling here. Still 17c at midnight. In what world is that pleasant?
  9. Far too warm here today. The fine balance we had even as recently as yesterday is now broken. Will be sticky as hell overnight and more to come.
  10. Got above that once or twice here. Anyway, its no more silly than the guy who claimed he puts his heating on if it drops below 18c. We're all different.
  11. Can't have it both ways; you want hot days, you get hot nights since the muck is pulled in from dear old europe. When this spell started, it was warm by day, but the nights did cool. That has stopped however, and last night was very warm even out to the early hours. Not pleasant at all. Making the most of today before the muck is back with a vengeance.
  12. It'd take a miracle to get a storm here. If it happens, I'll be re-enacting the latest moneysupermarket advert; FINALLY ITS HAPPENED TO ME!
  13. The GFS's output graph has been more erratic than the rhythm line on an EKG... After the patient has been scared out of their wits.
  14. Considering what they were saying about the end of may not long back, for several updates, its no wonder the bbc dropped them.
  15. Whilst this spell started out balanced, the nights are getting too warm for my liking. Cooled off earlier in the week despite similar daytime temps.
  16. Depends where you look. Weatherunderground were pretty close for here at 23.
  17. It wasn't long ago that the metoffice were forecasting a below average end to may. Seaweed and a farmer's almanac are more useful.
  18. "Fresh" won't be a word we'll be using for long. Looks muggy as hell from the weekend. Far too unpleasant.
  19. When the 6z showed it as far north as the midlands, its a downgrade.
  20. on paper yeah. Factor in humidity and sun strength and its significantly higher. A lot would draw the line there.
  21. When you hear talk on the MAD thread of african air getting into circulation on top of what already's being modelled, then that says to me "never satisfied". I won't be biased; the winter hardcore are just as bad if not worse. But what we have now; 23/24 by day but cooler nights is where I draw the line between pleasant and too much.
  22. Not at all, how about we swap patterns, you can have the warmth/heat and I'll take 15c. Win/Win. Give me a NW'ly and that will be the case.
  23. Because they're never satisfied. What we have now is warm BUT it cools off at night. Soon that will be gone. 28/17 is a good bet going from the output. Yuck.
