WS3600 - LaCrosse weather station

Well I finally got it up at the weekend for the first time in over a year... Yes, that would be my WS3600. It has been sitting in the box for the past year or so ready for when we made the move. Boy oh boy did it have to work hard last night too, but it held on and gave me some great data, except for one thing..... the rain guage, it recorded nothing, nada ah well, must re-check all of the connections etc... -
Sleet showers, 3°C, Wind - S/SE 15 mph (Highest recorded gust 32.3mph in the last hour), Relative Humidity @84 %, Pressure (mB): 982 and Falling.

...and here starts another conspiracy It's funny, an american guy that I work with has already suggested that the satellite was sent up for no other mission than to explode at the push of a button as it was loaded with explosives, it's all about flexing muscle and looking like their technology is highly accurate apparently

A bright start to the day with Snow Showers. Current temp 1 degrees.

Well the snow had all but gone by this morning , ah well, early days yet. Today has been a day of sunny spell with blustery heavy showers accompanied by gusting winds circa 25mph. Currently receiving another heavy shower with a temperature of 4 degrees.

After a cold start to the day (-2 degrees) and a couple of centimetres of snow (4 - 6 inches where I work ) things have warmed up, although the snow is still around. Currently 3 degrees and overcast.

Well it's official, Christmas came early for the Dazza household. We moved into our new home on the 1st December and now have many further years of trying to get it right!! I hope to post some final photo's soon, well as soon as we have tidied the house up anyway. Thanks for all your kind comments everyone and your support throughout all the trouble we had. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my Blog followers a very Happy Christmas and I hope you all have a great one. Bye for now Dazza
