    I am still not convinced tbh. I live in Brighton and I don't expect to see lying snow. So many times we got excited and nothing happened. I expect to see some flurries Wednesday morning, then even before noon it will turn either rain or gonna be sunny.

    This is for Brighton (southeast England) for example. It shows the classic pattern which is rainy when it's milder and then blue skies when it's colder. I'm sick and tired of chasing the cold and precipitation at the same time really. Every week we hear that next week's gonna be cold and potentially snowy, then this classic picture happens. Not reading or watching the weather studio anymore!!!

    I just read metoffice's long term forecast. They say eventhough it's going to turn notably colder south won't get any snow, in fact we will get mild and wet weather time to time :( I hate winters here, nothing happens apart from rain and wind :( (I am writing from Brighton)

    Guys, is this an extra snow? None of the forecast channels and website mentions this!!! I am happy and confused. It’s been snowing really good in Brighton but metoffice doesn’t show this

    Ok then that's it for us I assume, I hope we will get sudden stratospheric warming again next winter, so we can get unsual cold again :)) but more precipitation pls, it wasn't that good precipitation-wise

    It’s officially raining lightly in Brighton center. So I am not expecting anymore snow unfortunately. I am not 100% satisfied with this system snow-wise. Yes it was cold Tuesday and Wednesday but the precipitation was a joke. Who knows when will we get something this cold again. Maybe 5-10 years later. I am off to Turkey for skiing next Xmas, I won’t spend years to wait snow, life is short ?. However though, it was beautiful and magical to see Brighton white Tuesday morning. Thanks for being very enthusiastic and sharing knowledge here guys. See you next time when it snows (hopefully). Have a wonderful Spring and Summer all ??
