Reminds me of my younger days living in Hattersley. We would have a good covering of snow yet 3 miles down the road in Hyde would be a slushy mess.

I'm not much of a commenter on here, but it looks to me that even though the ecm takes a look at trying to throw a spanner in the works, we still end up blocked and cold. Surely this has to be a positive?

I love a walk on the low. Last week we walked from the quarry car park down through godley stud farm and up to hattersley and then back round to the low via mottram road. Climbing up the low from the dirt track on Apple lane was a killer. Edit. Sorry I quoted the wrong post. Was meant to quote robbo88

I grew up on Hattersley and my gran still lives up there. All ways does much better than Denton for snow even though it's only 4 miles away.

Is that where the old cennies pub was?
