  1. It’s a little quiet in here no comments about the GFS lol
  2. I’m at around 40m asl, it wasn’t dependent on elevation really..
  3. Speak for yourself! I live in an unfavourable place in the Southeast yet I’ve had two snow events this winter so far, Cold zonality looks likely in the near future and can deliver, I think we should appreciate what some northern areas may get and leave the IMBYism out of this thread
  4. Soon enough this discussion for the easterly will be in the short range MOD thread?, or is that more useful for talking about potential snowfall events?
  5. Remember the snow event on December 10th had quite high uppers and produced lots of snow..
  6. This 6z looks to be better for more cold to come after the initial ‘easterly’
  7. My thoughts -> Into New Years: After a milder interlude this weekend a continuation of cold zonality is expected, with potential sliders giving snowfall like earlier this month. Not the best way to get snow as it’s marginal but any sustained cold looks to be wk2 jan onwards
  8. It’s looking likely that places will see some snow on the front edge, I’m quite low down but I’m already at -4C with a DP of -5C..
  9. Snow looking increasingly likely to lower ground by Wednesday AM according to the metoffice
  10. Met Office currently has the snow line around Watford (North London), hoping tomorrrows outputs bring that down 10-15 miles south to give many of us a chance..
  11. Haven’t posted on here since last winter, but late next weeks quite interesting, much more potent then our previous cold snaps!
  12. Interesting weather is on the way again for London. Temps and DPs are snow conductive and so are uppers.. and this Belgium 'blob' is headed our way!
