Bramley/Pudsey border actually can hear the rain on the windows over the football on tv. It’s been relentless all day. The ring road at Wortley shut earlier as it was submerged

I’m probably only 6 miles from Morley and it’s hammering down with rain! Tbf it’s slightly higher where you are not by much though

I’m currently part furloughed and my days off next week are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. My teenage daughter has additional needs and is currently in school as she has ADHD and Autism. She has asked me to take her to school next week to which I’ve said ‘I’m not sure it will be open’. And finally I agree with other posts it’s unbearable in the MOD thread today. A quick check of some GEFS shows quite the difference in the 850's and where that boundary lies. Expected I suppose but does show the op is just another variation on where that line is

Mmmm not sure this is an upgrade in all honesty. With these Meto updates is always wise to look for what wording they drop too. And like Mountain Shadow says significant snowfall is now dropped. I’m not saying it’s a bad update by any means, just something to be aware of
