  1. Overnight low of 13.0c, glorious morning thus far, clear and turning increasingly warm now, 22.0c
  2. Cloud completely melted away by lunchtime, clear and lovely this afternoon, less humid than recently to though the humidity back on the rise now, temperature peaked very late today just half an hour ago, at 26.1c. Amazing 12z GFS, pretty incredible how this heat just keeps upgrading, the only ingredient missing thus far is thunderstorms which the 12z would bring!
  3. Dull and cloudy most of this morning surprisingly, cloud breaking up now though thank goodness, fresher than recently due to the murk, 20.1c
  4. Very slight risk of an isolated storm Thursday/Friday but it's a slim risk, brilliant charts again tonight, nights have been comfortable for sleeping here to on the whole as that Cheshire Gap breeze has kicked in most evenings, lighter today but still cooling down, 20.5c now.
  5. Maxed out at 26.2c today, very warm again though despite the clear start been much cloudier than recent days. Rest of the week looks glorious though, Thursday or Friday on course to be the hottest day of this spell here, weekend decent to west of Birmingham.
  6. Was nice and cool here last night, low of 10.7c, and 9.8c down the road in Shawbury, soon heated up though this morning, already 22.2c!
  7. Glorious day for the most part, much cloudier than recently after 3pm but mid-high level stuff rather than the usual grey murk, maxed out at 24.9c, feeling fresher now at 20.8c.
  8. Despite the forecast for more cloud today it's crystal clear again bar some haze , overnight low of 12.9c in the end, currently 19.4c.
  9. Seems to be funneling in pretty slowly, was still 27.5c an hour ago, hopefully can keep going through the night while we've temporarily got this airflow.
  10. Good old Cheshire Gap breeze kicking in now, down to 23.9c
  11. Scorcher today, maxed out at 28.4c, no surprise some convective activity got going and then dodged us by 5 miles, in this miracle month the sun shield has really been smashed to pieces but it seems the storm shield cannot be broken Stunning 12z GFS, 27-28c everyday for the next week apart from tomorrow which is slightly cooler and cloudier, though a bit of relief considering the lack of breeze and high humidity at the moment.
  12. Super hazy here to this afternoon though still hottest day of the year at 27.0c, would of hit 28 otherwise, Cheshire Gap breeze trying to form again now though still very warm, 24.2c.
  13. Overnight low of 12.1c, glorious morning again, temperature's on the rise rapidly now, currently 21.9c.
  14. Perfection today, cloudless blue skies and low humidity with a high of 23.3c, other than yesterdays cloudier skies this has been one of the best surprises of this spell, usually the Telford cloud machine still finds a way to keep itself going but so far so good, crystal clear
  15. Made it down to 10.9c in the end, clearer skies set in after 1am though a misty start this morning, burnt off by 8am however and now glorious and sunny again though fresher than recent mornings, 16.9c. Been very nice to see the consistent upgrades for the weekend, we've gained a degree for Saturday each day, 28/29c widely now across the region with 25-27c widely Sunday and GFS/UKMO continue the warmth right through next week.
  16. Upgrades have continued on the 18z, wouldn't be surprised to see 32c somewhere in the South East this weekend. In terms of maxes this spell for here thus far: Sat: 25.8c Sun: 26.2c Mon: 26.4c Tue: 26.5c Today: 23.7c Friday at present seems our best bet for breaching the 28c mark though Saturday could to if that NW Cheshire Gap breeze holds off long enough.
  17. 18z continues to the gradual upgrades for the weekend, another 1-2c increase on the 12z values Very dull and murky tonight, the clouds made it feel quite close and humid again, certainly not going to get single figure minimum here now, still 18c.
  18. Hazier/cloudier skies set in soon after midday but still some good spells of sunshine and although it's freshening up now it felt scorching again earlier with the high humidity, maxed out at 23.7c, now 22.3c. Still on course for a real scorcher Friday and the 12z keeps things pleasantly warm all the way to 360hrs!! UKMO not got the Azores high ridging quite so much but is also further north than on it's 00z so maybe were on to a trend. Warm & sunny for my birthday next weekend two years running please
  19. Very very muggy last night, low of 16.3c in the end though temperature's soon soared back up this morning, 22.2c already and glorious (if hazier) sunshine, can see the cloud to the south east but hasn't got any nearer in the past half hour. Upgrades for weekend continuing this morning, 25-27c widely now Saturday (28-29c possbile in South of region) and 23-25c Sunday.
  20. Hard to believe were fast approaching 5 years (28th July 2008) since the last proper overhead storm here in Telford, the weaklings of 15th Apr 09, 24th? Sept 10 and other one distant flash, two rumbles of thunder events since don't count, when will the storm drought end?
  21. Very muggy right now, still hovering around 25c and turned rather hazy to, glorious blue skies though today and a high of 26.5c making it the warmest day of this spell thus far and it certainly has felt it with the high humidity and lack of breeze. Still on course for a scorcher Friday, 28/29c with the odd 30c possible, weekend uncertain for here still, UKMO and GFS NW winds whilst ECM still a scorcher, should be good amounts of sunshine still either way.
  22. Early morning mist was gone before 8am here, 12.2c overnight low, now 19.4c and no breeze to speak of.
  23. Winds looks like switching to NW Saturday, always a cool direction here, not as pronounced on UKMO though so here's hoping GFS/ECM backtrack.
  24. 26.4c the max here today, glorious, tommorow more of the same, Wednesday/Thursday the north sea muck looks like creeping in though, potential Friday though for hottest day since 2006? 28-30c possible quite widely.
