  1. Grey grey grey grey once again and same tomorrow stuck under this ruddy weather front only to shoot up to 25c on working Monday!
  2. Definitely appealing more and more to move abroad now, 12 months of 11-16c and stratocumulus leaden skies is insufferable
  3. Literally threw in the towel on any hope of a decent weekend yesterday only to wake up to cross agreement on all models this morning on 23-25c sunshine again...get back this evening and it's completely gone again!!! this summer worst of all time
  4. Just like those winter cold spells the charts keep showing warm spells only to take them away and move them back again and again, aka this weekend looked gorgeous on the charts this morning and now all three show grotty muck with any warmth delayed to the 'working week', not had a nice summer weekend aka sunny both saturday and sunday since 2013!
  5. Much cloudier than forecast today though scraped a high of 21c, see y'all when we actually get a trace of summer again...so September probably !
  6. Had a brief heavy downpour around 16:30, a few fleeting glimpses of the sun in the past hour but still not managed more than about a minute before cloudzilla's back over though. This past two week's has been the cloudiest ive ever known around the equinox, 16-17 hour days yet only a few fleeting glimpses of brightness, only in Shropshire Possibly finally a nice day tomorrow? looks like a one off though unfortunately.
  7. Darnit, guess the potential nicer week went out the window, both today and yesterday which were meant to brighten up have shared less than 10 minutes of sunshine between them and tomorrow afternoon now looks wet. Now only Thursday looks decent before another washout weekend of downpours.
  8. Month started decent, went down the gutter rapidly, charts backed off the mid week warm up now and looks like screaming NW's the week after, lordy not again! More chance of some sun/brightness at least this week, been about 5 minutes of sunshine since I got back last weekend.
  9. One of the worst summer week's I can remember, constant rain and grey skies, no sunshine which considering there are 16 hours of potential daylight this time of year is quite the feat. Looking at the hideous charts I should of gone on my break this week or next, scorching heat over the east med.
  10. So I got back Saturday Night and the sun has yet to appear even once since then! after a promising May/start to the month it's really fell apart and next week's warm up has completely vanished
  11. Yuck come back from mini break to find previous summer's grot has returned, slate grey skies and poisonous charts for the week ahead.
  12. In these setups warm air always pools in the Cheshire Gap area overnight, still 20.2c here and many other local stations, in comparison to 10c in Norwich.
  13. Absolute belter today, 25.1c max with rich blue skies and a refreshing breeze.
  14. Gorgeous clear blue skies once the grot cleared, max of 23.2c, perfect!
  15. Grot burnt off now thankgoodness, fresh at 15.3c at the mo but should rise quickly now it's clearing up.
  16. Sods law this morning, after the unforecast sunshine of Thurs/Fri were now it's the weekend were suffering unforecast north sea grot! break up already please..
  17. Very muggy this evening, hit 21c around 6pm despite the lack of sunshine, still 19.8c now
  18. Back to standard sunless Saturday here, not one break all day.
  19. Lovely surprise today, expected a day of north sea muck and ended up with long spells of sunshine and max of 20.1c! cloud finally rolled in around 6:45pm.
  20. Grot came back in Tuesday afternoon and finally burnt away around lunchtime today, fair weather cloud after work around 4-5:30 then mostly clear since. Looks like cloudzilla tomorrow/Saturday before a nice warmup/potential thundery weather into next week.
  21. Surprisingly ended up a much better Bank Holiday weekend than I expected, fair amounts of cloud on all three days at times but also some warm sunshine and highs of 18/19c, considering today was originally set to be an absolute washout ended up decent enough after the cloud broke up.
  22. Gorgeous crystal clear sunny start but cloud bubbling up fast just in the past 15 mins and suspect were end up overcast for the afternoon again unfortunately.
  23. Not as bad as I expected in the end today, grey/damp start then brightened up around 10am, plenty of sun 11am-1pm, vile grot after that till 5 unfortunately then it vanished in the space of 10 minutes and sunny since. 18.2c max
  24. Zero sunshine again today despite the promise of brightening up this afternoon!!!!! GFS dug it's final nails in the coffin for the weekend now, 100% cloudcover being shown Saturday which initially looked like the decent day, deliberating whether to head for West Wales?
  25. Sunless today, taster of what will be a gloomy bank holiday of North Sea grot here, charts getting greyer with each update!! bored of it now, always same old.
