    24c again today, feels very muggy this evening shame there's been no storms here since that brief one in May.

    Another beautiful day stuck in a windowless factory till 4pm, thankgoodness the sun's still high enough to get an hour in after work before it drops behind the woods. No shocks it looks like immediately warming up again next week after a washout weekend

    Sods law the rate the clouds breaking in the south the clearance will arrive here in time for sunset, very poor weekend considering with a bit of sun it would been 22/23 easy with these uppers.

    Haha never going to happen on a weekend last weekend was actually decent here but it seems for every decent weekend the weather gods punish us with 20 grey ones.

    Weekend curse truely back big style, whole country bar the south coast bathed in grot today despite 'sunny spells' forecast and of course as per usual the warm spells coming in the working week to be replaced by more grot and howling winds for next weekend. I've lost count of how many sunless weekends there's been this year only to be followed by sunny Mondays!

    Back to business as usual here, slate grey skies, last Saturday was a fluke, sods law come Monday morning blue skies arrive.

    Why are these flash in the pan heatwaves always on a Monday and Tuesday! Looks like were paying for our one decent weekend of the summer now, charts showing 0% cloud Friday and Monday and slate grey skies all day Sat/Sun.

    Best weekend of the summer here, today started as yesterday ended with grey skies but cloud dissolved away to leave mostly blue skies from 11am onwards and felt hot in the sun despite the wind.

    So it ended on a grey note but best Saturday of the summer today, long spells of sunshine and max of 24c nice surprise as was expecting cloudy day!

    Main problem with this summer, two warm spells surrounded by 50 days of consistent sunless grot!!! lost count now of how many mornings i've woke up to gloom!

    What a rubbish weekend, was meant to be sunny spells and a few scattered showers yet it's 100% overcast muck again today. Despite the heat of last week and warm spell first week of June the rest of summer has been bad enough to ensure this is still overall one of the worst alongside 2007 and 2011, probably worse as the two times i've been away have both been on those two weeks we've had the warmer weather so essentially other than the 32c the other Tuesday all i've witnessed is 15-18c muck.

    Was away Wednesday - Sunday so for the 2nd time this year i've come back off a mini break to sunless Autumn less than 5 mins of sun so far this week and dire charts..think I best get looking for another break before Autumn jeeze. This is the problem with this Summer, we might of got that incredible day last Tuesday but now we've pay for it with no high pressure till Autumn Equinox.

    No storms here and turning clear again now from SW so think that's it now, overnight low of 19.5c in the end, would of been higher but pleasant Cheshire Gap breeze has arrived now.

    Max of 32.7c in the end today, absolutely glorious and a lovely (quite strong) breeze. More cloud arriving from the SW now, here's hoping for some thunder potential tonight!

    Overnight low of 15.9c in the end, perfect blue skies this morning already up to 22.3c, possibly the warmest day in 10 years* to the exact date today!

    Yay managed to get tomorrow off work then off to Madrid Wednesday afternoon for more mid 30's just as breaks down here Fair bit of cloud today whilst in work but as soon as I came home it dissolved wahey, maxed out dead on 27c in the end, still 24.3c now so warmer than most of summer here.

    A much nicer afternoon than expected in the end after the cloudy morning, cloud gradually dissolved to the point of blue skies, a miracle on a weekend day

    Here's hoping I can get Tuesday off, can't see temperatures hitting anywhere near 33c though as warmest upper's don't arrive until the evening, maybe 30 though with hopefully some convective action by the evening. In the meantime it's still mostly cloudy here, wind woke me up around 3am and been gusting since from the west, wasn't expecting it.

    It probably will come off as it's a Tuesday, if it was a Saturday or Sunday those 30c's would end up in Berlin whilst we sat under raging westerlies Wish i'd gone down south for the weekend, unfortunately i'm 100% certain the cloud won't break up till 9pm tomorrow here.
