Now on our third storm of the day that’s come within audible distance while moving away without hitting my area.
Looks like the Thames Estuary storm shield is back in operation -
Breeze starting to pick up, might actually be coming this way…

Swear I just heard thunder, probably is just about close enough…

The anvil from the SE London cell is almost above me - a good 20 miles away!
There’s also something beefy looking to the NW too, looks like everything is going to avoid me as per usual…

After a rather overcast day, the sun is now breaking through and it looks dark to the West, which would tally up with the CZ mentioned in previous posts

Torrential hail now, heaviest I’ve seen in a long time

Just come over pitch black from the West and now chucking it down which is typical as I need to go out shortly.
Possible thunder heard too, but I can’t say for certain.

A few hours ago, I heard the deeply distressing news, that my Son Antony passed away, in his sleep overnight.
Antony was in the advanced stages of Huntington's Disease, which is a genetic and terminal illness.
Antony inherited the condition from his Mother, my first Wife.
He would have been 40, next Month.
He passed away at Home, where he lived with his Sister Hayley, and her Boyfriend.
I realised that Antony was only a matter of Months away, from being placed in a Care Home but thought he might still have another few Years of Life to come.
It obviously was a tremendous shock to hear the news of his passing, from my Daughter's Boyfriend.
I have just put an In Memoriam post up in that Thread, to Antony's memory.

Still got some snow lying, mostly on grass, here too. Considering it’s been a week since it started settling on there, I think that’s pretty good going. It’s also still pretty chilly out there too. All in all a decent spell. 7/10.

Radar is back for me as of the 13:40 run

Heavy snow here currently, small flakes. Doesn’t look like it’s filling in tyre tracks or footprints, but equally no obvious melting that I’ve noticed
