  1. I got there eventually, Thanks both!
  2. I tried searching for the app on the playstore but could not find it, so I came here and found the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.netweather.netweatherradarextra On this page (https://www.netweather.tv/secure/cgi-bin/premium.pl?sess=3b4a8273ab5c375edeab738f4ce11c2b) But it returns a page not found, is the App no longer available? I was hoping to install it on a new phone. Cheers. Kim.
  3. Ah, thanks Knocker, it just passed over us, very intense rain with some hail mixed in, but over in a couple of minutes. Quite interesting to see the event develop and unfold though.
  4. An interesting band of very heavy rain and associated lighting strikes currently running up through St Georges channel, an odd looking pattern to it as well. Hope this is an appropriate section, I don't post very often.
  5. Showing up fine now anyway. Thanks for the sharp updates Paul!
  6. Still none, or at least very little of the detail showing on the radar.
  7. Thanks Paul, If you run the sequence back some (to about 8 am) and forward again, you can see distinct gaps (radial patterns like spokes) around waterford extending towards pembrokeshire, as if the coverage was only sporadic or partially blocked.
  8. The radar coverage for West Wales seems to be missing, we are getting a fair bit of rain but there is nothing on the radar, is a station down?
  9. Regardless of the browser, Chrome, Opera, IE, all I am seeing on the V6 radar this morning is large semi transparent pink squares, no radar image, though the map is still vaguely visible, the V4 is working fine though. Anyone else seeing that or is it just me?
  10. I always try to follow the posts on the model thread but am not quite as familiar with many of the abbreviations as more experienced posters, yet abbreviations form a large part of most posts and it can be a bit challenging trying to figure out what the posters comment means when the abbreviation is not known. I am surely not alone! Would it be possible to have a glossary page pinned to the forum that could be kept updated as questions like this pop up, then those of us who are trying to grasp the concepts have a source of reference? Apologies if this is in the wrong place, it seemed the most appropriate I could find though.
  11. Nice catch Jamicu, that was my problem too, now fixed! Thanks for that! Thanks to Paul too.
  12. The radar is very slow to refresh or go back through the recent sequences, takes an age to load the graphic, is there some problem? This is with the V5 and the V6.
  13. How soon could this bit of news start to have an effect on the models then? http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/IOTD/view.php?id=77828
  14. Both Radar versions seem stuck at 0215 today, the current time is 0632, some problem?
  15. It's been very good as a stand in! Much thanks CMD
  16. While we can often make out the airflow around low pressure systems it's pretty unusual to see a high marked out so, and in this case extraordinarily well! http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/IOTD/view.php?id=46050
  17. Thanks for all the info Paul, glad to hear the satellite pages will be fixed soon.
  18. Thanks Shuggee, (it would perhaps be useful to know how, for future reference maybe)
  19. Erm, this is the help support and feedback Forum, isn't this the "Normal Way"???
  20. The satellite image page ( http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=charts;type=nwsat ) is stuck at the 23rd of July but I have not been able to find any posts with a reason, did I miss it? Will the satellite be up and running again soon?
  21. Nice forecast Nick, good to see the various charts used and explained, much better than the dumbed down weather on the TV. I look forward to the next one!
  22. Close, "Earth Observatory Picture of the day"
  23. A very interesting subject for todays EOPOD. http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/IOTD/view.php?id=43027
