  1. Why are all the light bulbs (I know, I should really call them 'lamps'!:D) 'warm white'? And, also, why are 90% of what are there, screw fittings? Why can't I buy a 'daylight' bulb (I mean lamp) that has a bayonet fitting...?:angry:

  2. Is it me, or is the word 'event' getting a tad overused these days?

    A solitary flake of snow in the wind, and it's a snow EVENT!

    One single twig gets dislodged from a tree, and it's a wind EVENT!

    Are we, as a society, losing any sense of proportion? I don't know; but this morning's rain EVENT was, to use a particularly irritating Americanism, AWESOME!

  21. Now spent 4 hours' waiting for a doctor to call me back...What was so bloody difficult about simply ringing the surgery and getting an appointment...? The scheidt that has occurred since 2010 really is a disgrace!:angry:

      I have a Cirro S2, £15 and has lasted me a good 6 months with the battery life. Replacement tanks and the juice is only around £3.50 which lasts a week per-bottle.
