  1. Does the 'copy image' thingy still work? Or has the bug been 'fixed'? I tried to copy an image of a sliderule (as the 1963 model) earlier and pasted reams of code instead...😨

  4. Good God, BT OpenZone is shyte! I've been in a 'hotspot' for the past 5-years, and connectivity just keeps getting worse and worse and worse...What are they doing with all that taxpayers' money they've been given?

BT Openzone works in an unusual way (at least, it used to). Everyone with a BT router as well getting their own broadband also permits other BT users to connect and use it. It used to be the case that you could turn that off on your own router. So if using Openzone, you are effectively reliant on other BT users.

Don't you have your own router?

  11. Just started watching what would be a very good series, but for one thing: instead of hearing Polish folk speak Polish whilst watching English subtitles, the latest preference seems to be for American English voice-overs...

    4. Katrine Basso

      Katrine Basso

It is probably some sort of international conspiracy to make sure that Ireland and the British Isles will never get any snow and if we do we'll never get as much as other countries as they want to keep it to themselves.  International Weather organisations want to make sure that we have an Atlantic driven winter which means that will be very wet and windy.

  24. Funny old world, innit?

I heard, on LBC today, that a guy got sacked for re-tweeting a tweet that contained a highly controversial claim - that women do not have penises!

Now, who on Earth could that upset?:fool:

blame the Cats' rights' bill 2018.

1:34:67:90 cats have every right to jump on beds, chairs and other soft items and use reasonable force to wake their owners.

I have saved quite a few Star Trek TNG episodes to watch.  But what I what I would like to watch is Star Trek DS9.  The Ferengi are so funny as well as Commander Data and I love listening to the Star Trek characters using technobabble, which I also find very funny.  I have a very strange sense of humour.
