  12. Just initiated my appeal regarding ESA (it was, after all, Jobcentre plus that advised me to apply for it!)...IMO, autism cannot be cured - and, never in my entire life, have I suffered from Bell's palsy - let alone recovered from it!

Where do these DWP muppets get their 'information' from!:wallbash:

Ah yes, that mysterious form of autism that can be 'cured', that will 'heal' ,somehow magically go away...

    3. Ed Stone

I've no idea why they've (after two-and-half-years) decided that I'm suddenly 'fit for work' (having apparently recovered from Autism and Bell's Palsy - which I've never even had, BTW. So I wonder whose medical records they have even referred too!

Anywho, I've been to the doc's today and have a certificate-letter-whatsit saying I have acute anxiety...

My best guess is that DWP would hope that I jump of the nearest bridge before they need to respond?

No flocking way will I ever do that; I am so glad I have family nearby!:D

    1. ajpoolshark

      ajpoolshark

i think there is some good news though for sufferers....I read somewhere that there are new treatments going through testing?..not sure how reliable the info is though......still, long term, nanotechnology is the key I reckon?

  15. Och we'ell; it's time to go shopping, for the next three-days' chili concarnie(sp?)...And, now that I'm no-longer disabled (having  apparently recovered from my autism), I think I'll claim some PPI money back?

Peel and cut your spuds. Baking potatoes are fine. Blanch them in boiling water for 6 minutes. Drain and leave for a few minutes to cool. Cover them in peanut oil, properly cover them. Season with salt and pepper. Put them in a deep pan and put the pan into an oven preheated to its hottest possible temperature. Turn em a couple of times during cooking. Half an hour later you'll thank me.

  21. Earlier on today, I made a post that contained the word 'f.e.c.kless', which was duly replaced by something about stained-glass windows. Now, I fully appreciate the need for a swear-filter, but does it have to be so darned restrictive?:D

      Thundery wintry showers

I usually make sure mine are ajar so that I can hear the thunder (and precipitation, if any) clearly, but not wide open enough to let much in the way of precipitation or lightning in.
