    There is light frost on the roofs, back lawns but nothing on the front lawns. It looks like it is going to be a lovely sunny day.

    A lovely sunny day with moderately strong winds which have died out. The temperature is 10.1 °C and the barometer pressure is 1007.0 mb and the altimeter pressure is 1007.3 mb, (pressure is rising 1.0 mb/hr)

    The day started lovely with bright sunshine and scattered clouds but quickly disappeared as the wind became stronger and the cloud cover gaining through the morning until the early afternoon.

    Here is the latest snow and ice chart and it looks like nearly all of Scandinavia is covered in snow.

    I woke up to a Sunny and frosty morning. There was only a light covering of frost which quickly disappeared. It only lasted an hour. The temperature is 8.3 °C and though it is cooler than yesterday, it feels warmer because of the sunshine and that the humidity has gone down to 10%.

    South Ockendon's weather this morning a sunny day with a mostly clear blue sky. There is bright sunshine, with a light breeze 4.1 mph NNW and the temperate at 9:20 am is 5.3°C . I prefer to look at short range weather forecasts as generally they are more accurate than medium to long range weather forecasts.

    A lovely autumn day with plenty of bright sunshine and a partly cloudy sky. The temperature today is 18 C and the wind strength is 2.5 mph WNW .

    It is wonderful to see the snow cover spreading to Western Russia. If the snow cover keeps spreading at this rate, it won't be long before Scandinavia and Eastern Europe is covered in snow.

    Bright sunshine and variable cloud cover throughout the morning. Winds yesterday and today not any more windier than normal. If it was bad the QE11 bridge would have been closed and it is still open. I do not think a yellow weather warning should have been given for Thurrock as the winds were not that strong.

    A quiet start to the arrival of Storm Brian with light winds, intermittent sunshine and showers throughout the morning. It got windier through the early afternoon with the skies becoming more cloudier. The winds are coming from the South West and wind's speed is at 23 mph with gusts of 27 mph. There is a yellow weather warning for Thurrock.

    There has been a half an hour of bright sunshine this morning then it gradually became more cloudy as the morning went on. It now is cloudy and dull with a light breeze. It is cooler and more fresher than yesterdays humid breezy weather.

    The sky is a strange colour a cross between a pale pink and a pale dirty brown but it does not appear when I took two photos with my mobile phone camera.

    The sun looks a bit different than usual as it has a pinkish tinge.

    BW I do not know where the sun went as it is mainly cloudy in Thurrock. There have been a very brief bright spell but it quickly clouded over. The temperature does not feel any warmer than yesterday and I don't think it will get any warmer than 22 ° C. There is some light winds but I do not think it will get windier. One local weather station said that rain is expected for Thurrock.

    I had condensation last night on my kitchen windows but it has all gone now. It has been a warm day with some sunshine. I have looked at the local weather forecasts for South Ockendon from BBC, myweather2.com and wunderground.com weather which has 21°C (BBC), 23°C (myweather2.com) and 24°C (wunderground.com weather) and which one will get tomorrow's temperature right.

    There was some bright sunshine earlier on in the day but disappeared by late. It is cloudy now and there is no sign of the promised mini heatwave.

    The temperature is -1.9 °C with a wind chill factor of -4.2 °C. Another lovely frosty morning. That makes about the 11th frosty morning of the winter so far in Thurrock.

    In South Ockendon, the lowest temperature we got was -4°C. There is still is frost on the roofs and on the grass.
