    Super_Uwe Yeah had two flashes of lightning down in Beesands and two claps of very loud thunder. Totally unexpected. Very heavy rain too

    Just had a brief hail shower in Beesands, probably more to come later I reckon. Feeling cold in that wind too, especially when the showers arrive.

    A windy night down in South Devon, but nothing too out of the ordinary although the gusts have picked in the last 30 minutes.

    Sleet in Slapton this morning but just rain in Beesands right on the coast. A strong easterly wind though whipping up the sea and feeling bitter ...Popped into Dartmouth this morning and snow was falling where there was a bit more altitude say around 200m. Great start to winter

    Yeah I can report some bright flashes over the Channel. A crazy night of weather, we've had everything so far.

    Yeah same here in South Devon, wind has dropped considerably. Still plenty of rain around though, some thunderstorms pushing in from the south west too.

    Winds picking up here in South Devon... about half a mile from the sea. Heavy rain too. Definitely not a night to be out on the roads. Be interesting to watch this unfold. Stay safe everyone.

    The weather isn't too bad down here in South Devon, but there's some lovely cloudscapes...

    I must be one of the very few weird individuals who welcomes the dark nights with open arms ...I love the cosy nights in front of the fire, the dark mornings. I enjoy the summer evenings too, but I definitely prefer this time of year onwards to the summer months

    Had a decent storm down here in South Devon too. Some more showers heading in overnight by the looks.

    Currently in Beesands down on the South Devon coast, seen lots of lightening out in the Channel, a few CGs too which were incredible. Storm has weakened now unfortunately although it's just started to rain. Hopefully more to come later tonight and tomorrow

    More rain in South Devon too, not sure what happened to the high winds though, it's breezy but nothing too out of the ordinary.

    The Lion Inn up at Blakey Ridge would be an ideal place. It's high up with views all around.

    I was in Hurghada back in January and it was lovely. 25 degrees for most days and cloudless skies for almost 10 days straight

    Expecting nothing but cold rain down here in South Devon later on. Won't be surprised to hear snow reports bit further inland though, could be a frustrating day tomorrow

    Another frosty morning down in South Devon, beautiful and crisp underfoot. Travelling up to Yorkshire today on the train, hopefully might see some snow heading up and hopefully during the week

    Beautiful in Salcombe this afternoon, cold and crisp. Frost hanging on too in the well shaded areas.
