  9. Looks liek most of the GPS stations are showing a fairly steady output which suggests outflow is now matching inflow. Could mean a longish eruption. Did see some more lava make it way down to the barriers this morning. By day you can't see anything perhaps drone coverage or night will reveal more ad how it's effecting the barriers i.e getting ready to overtop.
  10. Sunny Sheffield up to 7.1C +1.3C above normal. Rainfall at 62.2mm 102.6% of the monthly average.

  12. Dry, cloudy very mild start after some overnight rain Temp 8.9C, Barometer 1013mb steady, Wind F1 NE, Rainfall 2.2mm
  13. Still going this morning this morning. Volcano one experts nil. Looks like inflow into the chamber is greater than whats being erupted as land is still rising.
  14. Drizzle and very mild start Temp 10.2C, low 9.8C, Barometer 1007mb steady, Wind F3 SSW, Rainfall Trace
  15. toggerob To early to say what the chemical composition is and whether the findings will be published or not.

  18. Okay the gps on this map are only updating the date stamps. Skjálfti VAFRI.IS Skjálfti However the 8 hour ones are updating which are beginning to show a possible reinflation which means that possibly magma coming in is greater than than what's being drawn out. If so this come mean a longer eruption that expected. Just checked the four hour ones and inflation has resumed. Near Real Time 8 Hour Time Series STROKKUR.RAUNVIS.HI.IS
  19. A dry mild begiing to the day clear skies Temp 5.9C, low 5.7C, Barometer 1010mb steady, Wind F2 SSE, Rainfall Nil
  20. Interesting the 4hr GPS showing a drop across all stations. The 24 hr plots which have updated ten minutes ago show no drop and continued inflation. The 4hr ones will be corrected the 24hr plots somehow have dubious data or haven't actually updated despite the time stamp. One of the eruptions, a much smaller one there wasn't deflation I think it was the second one which was very short in length.
  21. Turned dry with sunny spells through the morning. Very mild Temp 12.9C, Barometer 1010mb steady, Wind F2 SSW, Rainfall 8.8mm
  22. Looks like the lava front has stalled and won't reach the sea which will be due to the eruption declining. Surprised it's still going to be honest.
  23. it started about 20 minutes ago no warning possible due to the weather ??? https://youtu.be/804nPrAUAxg
  24. Turning cloudy in the afternoon with some late light showers Max temp 11C, now 8C. Barometer 1016mb falling slowly, Wind F2 SSW, Rainfall Trace
