Light rain once again to end gthe day. Sunny spells giving way to cloud. Average temperatures
Max temp 11C, now 8.1C, Barometer 1017mb falling, Wind F2 SW, Rainfall trace
Iceland eruption still plodding along land rise is getting closer to the previous high so when and if it reaches that and passes it it could get interesting again.
Sunny Sheffield at 10.3C +2.7C above average. Rainfall 54.1mm 96.4% of the monthly average.
Will pass the average today but after that doesn't look like much in the way of rainfall at the moment.
Haven't seen and sleet or wet snow but then I was at work and low down. Temperatures did get down to 2.9C at 9 O'clock. Winds peaked so far at 47mph and average high of 28 mph so pity much in ball park. Just looked at security cam playback and definatley sleet at nine this morning.
A windy day with showers heavy at times rather cold
Max temp 9.3C, now 8.6C, Barometer 1002mb rising slowly, Wind F5 W, Max gust 48mph. Rainfall 10.2mm
Very short and sweet squall line. The noise in the trees maybe think more than 38 mph gust. Rare we get squalls normally they break up or the winds drop out when they come over.
A new swarm this time to the west North west Grindavik no change in uplift however the areas suggests something could be developing perhaps to release more built up magma????
Eruption still plodding along uplift continuing as flow rates fall so wouldn't be surprised at another break out somewhere. Interesting swarm round the Krýsuvík but no uplift or anything so probably the ground settling due to pressure from the W.
Light showers quickly dying away in the afternoon then dry mild with sunny spells
Max temp 15.1C, now 14.6C, Barometer 1014mb falling slowly, Wind F3 SSW, Rainfall 0.6mm
