  1. To all those west of me in the Amber zone, its so pathetic and sleety its not even settling on roof, bins or cars here so good luck You never know it might intensify as it heads towards you Sticking by the notion this is a Clipper and that Mid to North Kent area will be hardest hit. Hopefully as the band clears off we might get some proper snow showers on a streamer the type of flakes that resemble snow and not icy rain
  2. Snizzle and Sleet here now Wind roaring like a jet engine through the trees and a few hundred feet up
  3. It's gunna take a year at this intensity to make a thimble sized snowman That wind though Jeeeez
  4. Ahh Cute Your in the NO SNOW Jackpot zone atm with us further north
  5. Yay So I DID read the radar correctly Was booking an Online Open University Course starting Monday for a moment there
  6. At least this wind is drying everything out, hopefully be able to cut the grass by Tuesday
  7. About 10 to 15 minutes that heavier stuff is to your North near Canterbury. You look to be in a great spot
  8. My god Canterbury is going to get buried if that Clipper carries on the same path.
  9. Yes this is sliding NNE to SSW so thats gunna be my jackpot zone, seeing some pics from 600ft near Canterury of stunning snow piling up already.
  10. Dewpoint now -0.1c here so people in Kent the cold is rapidly heading towards you so where the Mid Kent Streamer is happening at the moment expect the transition soon too all snow down there, its looking epic for you guys
  11. Horrible Gap setting up about 20 miles in width from Ipswich down through to South Essex. Good to see Chelmsford is in the western precip band that should head down into NE and SE London
  12. So to me that looks like a slider down the East Coast staying offshore of Clacton and running through the east side of Sheerness, it looks like its almost reached its North western pivot point. But needless to say the next hour will ultimately define how far into land it gets. Have I got that right ? Still looks like a Mid Kent Clipper in my books but I am learning all the time
  13. So thats strange as my radar has nothing north of Clacton wtf ??
  14. Ah ok Thanks for that, thought I knew what I was doing all these years. Must go back and learn radar thanks Any ideas of amounts for me then by say noon ? Seeing as I have no clue how to read radar some advice would be nice. could you help me with whats going on
  15. Its a Kent Clipper plain and simple. Yes you can also call it the Mid Kent Streamer when winds are NE or NNE, no good to anyone unless your are east of Gravesend or west of Dover. Hoping the guys down there enjoy it and get some cracking pics. Just Essex and Suffolk now on the no snow list I think
  16. Hahahahaha The Number 9 will get me there no problems with that How Many Carraiges has that one got
  17. 5 Moderate Thunderstorm Busts from Convective weather last year with closest Lightning 50 miles away So this Amber warning does not fill me with confidence, and any streamer could be wintry on the coast so would not bet against it. I kind of sadistically would laugh if we got to 48 months without a snowflake at my latitude though
  18. This still looks like a Reverse Kent Clipper to me However many times I run the radar it does not get any better unless you are in Kent
