  1. Certainly not looking forward to such a mild weekend at this time of year, not what you could call seasonal at all.
  2. You certainly are not the only one mate, many feel the same way. I liken it to staring up the steep slope of a dark mountain this time of year, June the 20/21st is the peak. The next 12 or so weeks for so many are the worst of the year by far, i easily find this time of year the most depressing by far.
  3. A near enough perfect Easter Saturday and possibly Sunday coming, warm plenty of sunshine and certainly no need to put the central heating on!! Monday not so good i admit.
  4. I find it fascinating how folk are all so different, just change the word cold to hot and that statement is exactly how i feel. Totally the opposite but in many ways just the same!
  5. Dangerous55019 I find this time of year akin to starting a long climb up a steep mountain, the summer solstice is the summit, over that its far easier journey, the worst is over and the journey to better less harsh light levels has begun. Nothing beats those long Autumnal shadows when they first appear.
  6. With out doubt A. Mainly because we haven't had a Winter yet!
  7. B87 You have....that is my point entirely. London is not the whole UK.
  8. B87 You did say extreme.....it is not 11 months of extreme, that is fact
  9. In the case of Summer i totally agree. B87 But we haven't had 11 months.
  10. Definitely not!! Its 23th of March!!! We need seasons....not just our preferred ones!
  11. Everyone on this site is though....not a fully sane one on here!
  12. *Stormforce~beka* First day this year i've had to close the blind on my car sun roof, just to warm!!....not happy as it makes the place i spend most of my time very dark!..We are all so different aren't we?
  13. Nice one! Out of every negative a positive can be found
  14. At least with these temps most will not be complaining about the cost of having their heating on for so long! Every cloud.
  15. how many densely populated areas in the world are on a island subject to to the Atlantic and one of the biggest weather streams on the planet??.....climate change is only going to reduce the sunshine stats, more heat, more energy on the body of water we sit in, more cloud. It will happen. We are not going to end up with a Mediterranean climate weather wise, that is certain.
  16. I can only hope and pray i suppose! Would be my perfect Summer!
  17. Starting to get that bad feeling. Doing the miles i do a week i see a lot of the country, never seen the land so saturated, ever. We need a dry spell, 3 to 4 weeks, let the ground drain. Nothing on offer though. This could become a big issue for farmers very soon, i've seen the activity already in attempts to drain fields. This is not just one location, it has effected the main arable production areas worst.
  18. TwisterGirl81 at work or out of work? Normally pull out of work when it goes past 45 to 46c, the humidity is horrendous then, running off the walls. Otherwise 24/25c is max but wouldn't sit out in that, far to hot in direct sunshine for me.
  19. TwisterGirl81 No offence taken at all, just wasn't sure! I totally get what you mean as well,i've lost close to 4 stone in the last year due to health issues, it does make a difference i agree, My issue is where i work, the rooms are shall we say challenging sometimes even in this weather, come summer it is a nightmare at times, 40c plus is normal with humidity. Hence my hatred for warm/hot weather, i need to cool down on leaving them!
  20. Can i ask what you mean as that sentence doesn't make sense?
