  1. Two big bright flashes past 20 minutes, one direction of East Kilbride the other Hamilton. Nice deposit of hail too.
  2. Can exclusively reveal today's snow total here as 2 flakes and miserable rain. Now clear, frosty, and snow free. Bugger.
  3. Had to zoom in on that thought for a sec that was a terrific looking funnel cloud.....
  4. I know it's not much but it shows how quickly it can lie in the right conditions. Hoping for a feast Tuesday.....-)
  5. Saturday has heavy rain forecast. Oh the joys, hopeful of something exceptional beforehand....
  6. Was up in Elgin for the Motherwell game today. Just as we left down it came and has got much worse since. Decided to head south via Aberdeen given the worsening conditions. 20230715_170520.mp4
  7. About an hour ago. Convinced without doubt we have a thunderstorm shield here - skirted around us and has since pepped up.
  8. Interesting skies over Motherwell today. Very humid, had a few spots of rain earlier but very few in the end.
  9. The Motherwell thunderstorm shield holding firm. Looking towards East Kilbride.
  10. Hi, no worries, I got them here. Connects through your WiFi but you can insert Micro SD cards and/or use their storage. Doorbell camera has an inbuilt camera thats about the only drawback I think. Outdoor Security CCTV Cameras |Home WiFi Security Cameras WWW.TIME2TECHNOLOGY.COM Our UK range of Outdoor Security CCTV Camera Systems allow you to protect your home and possessions from anywhere in the world, watch footage back in full HD.
  11. You're quite right. Apart from that it was dismal and it'd gone virtually as quickly as it arrived. Another poor winter snow-wise again around here.
  12. I took these off our CCTV on Wednesday night, the one on top 7 minutes later than the one on the bottom. Didn't lie long but was an interesting few minutes - we are in Bellshill.
  13. Not a flake in sight at 5.30 am, but by 7 covered. Now beginning to melt away but nice to see here in Bellshill. video-1641554134.mp4
  14. Hoping the streamers shift slightly. We've had a couple of flurries today, but again as with this entire winter thus far nearly but not quite. As has been for a decade almost (bar that event a couple of years ago).
  15. Didn't expect to wake to snow this morning. It's only a fairly light covering here but considering I nodded off at 1 this morning with it raining outside and miserable looking a pleasant surprise (Bellshill).
  16. Seeing conflicting forecasts for the Algarve. Any one give me a definitive one for the next 10 days please?
  17. Jellyfish over Bellshill this morning, lovely skies. I'm curious about that 33.2 last week, would love to know exactly where it was recorded - Ravenscraig by any chance?
  18. Great summary! We are off to Praia Da Rocha 2nd week in July. I know it's a bit far away (14 days) but heading towards the forecasting period. Any chance of a similar forecast for then (perhaps request nearer the time?)? Been watching the weather for the Algarve for a while now and it does seem quite unseasonal at the moment and seems to have been for a while (co-incidentally lovely here even in Central Scotland).
  19. Off to the Algarve 2nd week of July (couldn't see a thread for Portugal). I've noticed that it's been decidedly cooler down there (and a bit wetter) than normal for this time of year, any signs of this settling down. Just for that week you understand...........-)
  20. Looking at the models the southern half in particular of Scotland looks set for an utter drenching late Sunday/early Monday, anyone firm up on this at all?
  21. Interested in the forecast for Wednesday-Friday which seems to suggest storms for the Central belt especially late Wednesday. Anyone firm up on the possibilities?
  22. Unexpected here thought it'd be over bit heavy snow shower currently.
  23. I've been putting out anything that's past sell by date from the fridge. Even tomatoes and strawberries have been getting wolfed down. They really must be desperate.
