  1. Just started snowing in Buckingham. Tiny flakes, but road is already covered.
  2. Heavy snow in Buckingham. Temp 0.4C, but the lying snow is now rock solid and the tracks dug out on the road have covered completely in 15 minutes.
  3. Started snowing in Buckingham around 1am, and completely covered the road in 20 minutes. Continued steadily all night until about half an hour ago. Current depth 7cm, about 2 and three quarter inches. Temperature varied between 0.8 and 1.2C, but now dropped to 0.6.
  4. Now snowing heavily and sticking in Buckingham (Bucks/Northants border). Covered the road in about 20 minutes. Temp 0.9C
  5. Has been snowing lightly in Buckingham for about an hour and now getting heavier with larger flakes.
  6. Snowing heavily in Buckingham and sticking. About half an inch in the road so far even though the temps only just below freezing.
  7. Second storm of the day here from 2 - 3 pm. Constant rolling thunder and flashes of IC lightning together with very strong gusty wind and torrential rain. Temp dropped to 17C but now rising again. River is noticeably higher and minor floods on some local roads.
  8. Woken at 5 am by thunder and heavy rain. Lightning lasted for about half an hour and rain has just stopped.
  9. Heavy snow shower in Buckingham started a few minutes ago. Temp is -1 and road already completely covered, despite being wet to start with.
  10. Thunderstorm in Buckingham started about 8.20 pm and lasted an hour. Lots of very bright cloud to cloud lightning and a few cg strikes. Heavy rain along with it. Has moved away to the north east now, and getting humid again.
  11. Couple of rumbles of thunder and a short but heavy shower in Buckingham around 10.30. Wonderful after all that sticky heat.
  12. Dusting of snow on the grass here overnight and showers of fine light flakes off and on this morning. First post - really appreciate all the information on here. Helpful and funny!
