  1. Chris.R Just imagine that happening at sunset. If the clouds dont get in the way, for some people, the bloody moon would.
  2. Morning all. What is there to say. Sounding like a record stuck in a groove.... Grey, damp and mild.
  3. Thunder Snow apologies, that will be me and the after effects of last nights curry and onion Bhaji's
  4. Having a walk at Etherow Country Park near Marple. Every watercourse is maxed out. 20240407_113454.mp4 20240407_113530.mp4
  5. A cluster of strikes around Leek and then further NE near Bakewell. One strike to the South of Macclesfield
  6. Weather-history its certainly raised the water table. Was putting up new PE greenhouse on limestone chippings next to the lawn. We had a downpour so we sheltered inside. When the rain stopped we exited the greenhouse and the lawn was nearly under water.
  7. Stuck in another washing machine cycle. Managed some work in the garden yesterday. The water table is still very high so digging down soon finds a puddle.
  8. Sunny with puffy clouds. Very pleasant and unexpected after I couldn't even see the hills this morning. Just been to Markovitz to order a bulk bag of 20mm limestone and was met with a bonus of ' We can deliver it today' Get in there.
  9. Mind the gap. Pretty impressive stuff on the other side of the Pennines though.
  10. Morning All. Busy busy busy. Grey and a bit drizzly but the sudden huge gusts of wind are the talking point. I've been tidying the garden and rearranging things whilst the weather allowed.
  11. WillinGlossop you know the script. Sunny morning leads to false sense of being out enjoying it then getting caught out later.
  12. Might get some thunder in that band. There are a few recent lightning strikes to my South
  13. When you zoom right in, the bridge that collapsed at Baltimore is now reflected in the map. Someones on the ball.
  14. Morning all. Milky sunshine, no wind and the sweet smell of spring. First lawn cut today whilst the weather window holds.
