Morning all, Lovely sunny day here now! @HafrenLMP1 Yes mate, same here. We got fed up of all the coke heads that started popping up and causing trouble! I love the racing too but the atmosphere started to change. Just a side note to the weather from me this morning. I have just embarked on a new business venture in the form of a health & fitness blog, it's only a month old but will be updated regularly. Hi all, Getting warmer!!! I would have normally been at Aintree now, if it wasn't for the ticket prices going from about £60 10 or so years ago to £120+ !!!! Total joke! Hope everyone is well

Happy Easter All! Not too bad out there, fish & chips later . I've only eaten and replaced about 10 family eggs in the lead up to this weekend haha! Anyways, Ciao for now.

Just seen this so just thought I'd pop in. We have an 11 year old cat called Betty, I work from home and she follows me around like a sheep. I will be absolutely devastated when she goes but hopefully not for a long time yet! I treat her just as good as any family member, in fact she runs the bloody house lol! 21 & 23 years is bloody great lads, they must have been well looked after. Sorry for your loss, some people say 'it's only a cat or only a dog', I have no time for non animal lovers, domestic pets are very must part of any family. Anyways, back into hibernation.

Spring has certainly sprung! Glorious day out there now, some warmth in the sun too. Winter is over for me, bring on the nice weather now please. . It's been another poor one overall and I think for once, the North West probably did the best out of the scraps available (excluding Scotland & Northern Ireland of course). Back to popping in sporadically, here's to a decent storm season to keep the interest going until we start our journey back on the winding garden path to snow. Now we have blocking forming over Scandi and pretty cold air gradually moving around the back end of the bock, there is definitely a realistic opportunity this can make it to our shores in 7-10 days time. I'm still invested for a few weeks yet. Latest GFS at 192. Could still result in something like this...

severe snowstorm I agree mate, this time I'm going to stick with the UKMO chart as this was the only one from the other week never to really show any snow to low ground and proved to be spot on. So to save any hopes being dashed it ISN'T on board with any lower ground snowfall once again.

itsnowjoke I know mate, it's the actual egg chocolate isn't it. It just seems to taste different than a bar, I always buy myself a few eggs

Just back from Tesco, ended up buying a load of Easter Eggs ,so sitting here stuffing my face with the fa cup on . Can't beat Easter egg chocolate.

Joe Snow Yes mate, in the last 20 years or so, some of our best snowfalls have come in March (well, here anyway). There appears to be a major SSW warming forecast, so that is bound to mix up the atmosphere good style, luck of the draw if we end up with some bitter cold but the chance is there now. Weather eh, I've been pulled back in for a few more weeks!
