    Alarm set for 3.50am. 'Rooting' for snow, but more especially an England victory in India. Rarer than 10cm over the Wirral.

    Talking about weather presenters, my favourite was the main man, Daniel Corbett. Loved his persona, very unique. Though I'm aware he's worked both in America, and now settled in NZ, he was just great.

    As a proper lurker, and most definitely not as well informed as you guys, is it possible that A) the precipitation coming in Saturday daytime can stall or arrive later, whilst the colder air makes it's way over, or B) this colder air mass will arrive earlier than forecast, to help turn the rain to snow later on Saturday? Here's hoping. Stay safe guys.

    I'm just an eternal optimist Spah, and think Merseyside will be the recipient of all showers breezing across, smack in the middle, and down. Therefore, I'm going for an almost historic event for my area of Liverpool... 6cm..
