    Snowing in Salford now, big wet stuff though, don't think it's cold enough yet for the decent stuff.

    Morning all, what a lovely sight to wake up to again, is snowing pretty well here in Salford, 3rd day of (laying!) snow, looks lovely. It seems I couldn't have picked a better week to have off work, had a day out in North Wales with my parents yesterday and it was stunning when we drove through the hills! I think a day of playing Elite Dangerous in the warmth is in order today!!

    Proper coming down again and I noticed when I just went outside that it has gone VERY cold, almost become a white out while I have been typing, WOW!!

    Wow this is a nice surprise to wake up to, a couple of cm's in Salford and the flakes have just started getting bigger and heavier!!

    So as we get closer to this lovely cold snap\spell, which I am looking forward to very much, it is starting to look like my choice of a day out in Wales with my parents could well be the worst day I could have picked, any thoughts as to it not being a good idea to head Betws y Coed that day??

    I still can't believe my luck that this is heading towards us on a week that I randomly picked to have off work!!!

    Well it seems I could not have picked a better week to take off (using up some holidays) as next week, am looking forward to this very much, especially as I don't have to deal with it at 7am to defrost the car to get to work! Better stock up on some wood for the burner in the living room this weekend!!

    I'm starting to think it's my fault, I keep going to bed on a Friday thinking I really must get the cars cleaned tomorrow cos they are both filthy and it's doing my head in, hence it rains every Saturday!!!

    Oh a new thread, morning everyone, happy new thread!! So only in the NW of England can we go to bed with a cold, hard frost and wake up in the morning to default rain, you really can't make this stuff up!! lol

    it's pretty heavy now in Manc CC, if only it had snowed like this earlier today!!!! It's nice to watch out the windows though, doesn't seem to be sticking anywhere.
