These pictures were taken in Canterbury in 2014. I was out for a walk and saw storm clouds approaching from left and from the right. Ultimately these storms seemed to meet join together. I have never witnessed this before so it was interesting to see.
There was a lot of lightning on both sides when the storm clouds were separate, though I did not manage to catch it, very tricky. And also what I think is a shelf cloud.
Any comments welcome, or info on the types/structures of clouds seen would be awesome, as I am fascinated by storm clouds and we get some amazing ones here.
