Storm Eunice - 18th February
Malcolm Edwards replied to Thunder and Lightning's topic in Storms & Severe Weather
I live in Marazion near the far west of Cornwall and am very concerned to say the least. We have a conservatory at the back of our property which has buckled with 80 mph winds. Gonna be a real test this one. We lost our roof tiles in 2014 storm and that was not as bad as this beast. Stay safe all -

Same thing happened to us here in west cornwall 2018 when it looked like a miss for us and last minute we got our snow. I believe everyone is in for a chance this time. -

Winter 2020/21 chat, ramps, moans and banter
Malcolm Edwards replied to Paul's topic in Spring Weather Discussion
I for one love snow and seldom experience it here in marazion. As every year I follow the forum, they always seem to get tantalisingly close to epic outcomes only to be brought firmly back to earth with all toys thrown. However this year feels different and IF we end up with what has been showing on the charts, it could be a disaster for our infrastructure especially now with covid. So as much as I want to see the fi charts come to fruition, I wouldn't wish the chaos the would grip our country. -

Maybe just maybe it will be one of the biggest snowlercoasters of all time. Let's hope the SSW (stupid sodin weather) helps rather than hinders. -

I live in one of the most snowless parts of the UK so would be a welcome change if Fridays event comes to fruition. Not really looking past this week until the SSW finishes it's work. -

Fear not good people it will be back to narnia tonight with all toys picked up and ready to be ejected in the morning. Even though I live in the least most likely place to get snow, I'm still optimistic we may see something white this year. As I have seen things can change a lot in 3 days let alone 10. Happy model watching and keep the faith. -
