  1. Taking into consideration some posters comments in the Model discussion (Catacol, Tamara, Singularity) I am taking the current forecast/Models with a large bag of salt. The fact they are flip flopping every run I think anything showing over 48h is probably going to change again and again.
  2. A bit more detail https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/about-us/press-office/news/weather-and-climate/2024/disruptive-snow-possible-next-week
  3. Be nice my first post here and I'm just a proper rookie and very basic knowledge on chart reading but been keeping an daily eye on MOGREPS and today isn't looking as tidy as previous runs. Same applies to other areas
  4. bleaching it down in Morpeth. it's been snowing for over an hour now and there's a good inch on the ground now.
  5. Hi all, I "need" to travel down to Whilton Mill tomorrow from Northumberland for a race weekend, I have a large van and a caravan(yeah I know, a caravan). Looking at various forecast it seems that the worst of the storm is going to hit at around lunch time. Untill then the winds are up to around the 50mph ish. Is that still the case? Thanks
  6. The most impressive part of today is the Dew Point. currently at -6.2. It's now -3.2. One colleague on mine who live near Gateshead says his Dew Point was at -8 this morning
  7. Hi Steve. I have a Aercus instruments z758. Model ws2073. Can't fault it and it seems very accurate. Btw. Although I have been a member for years I've never posted in NW. Thank you for your posts in the model forum. I've learned quite a bit thanks to your post.
