just had a scout through other threads and its only people in our thread and the north west seeing it further north
I really really hope it is further north and we get some decent snow out of this!

Im logging off soon to go watch this weeks walking dead! and staying off Meto site for rest of night, really disappointing watching snow symbols dissapear haha.
Really hoping it shifts North but not getting hopes up now.

Look North just now still showed the snow making it just North of Barnsley though so I am not throwing in the towel just yet!
Everything crossed for when it arrives its much further North than everyone expecting!
No more southerly movement...PLEASE! haha

hmm big downgrades now for my area on metO! Taken away all the heavy snow symbols
Think the writing may be on the wall now imo.
Oh well...soon be xmas

Meto now downgraded snow for my area tomorrow. Oh well ya cant win em all.
Hopefully plenty more chances this winter.

just been told it is snowing in hoyland common, barnsley, Light and fine but still snow. Mother in law rang to rub it in haha.

MetO have been wrong on many occasions in the past though. Things can change at short notice, still every chance it could shift north as its not even here yet.

Everything still crossed.
But if not we are still in a much better position than last year and are still going to get snow, so nothing to really be downbeat about. Would have given my right arm for MetO updates like this last year.

Holy cow! MetO is amazing for my area, just keeps upgrading and upgrading the snow! A day and half of snow! Really??!
I will be being melon dramatic if thats disappeared tomorrow night

Yeah that's what i feel, that its going to go south of us. Shame if it does but plenty of winter left and its only the weather. I haven't mentioned the chance of snow this weekend to kids, so all good

wish mine had an upgrade, just keeps downgrading! Posting in here as no one in yorkshire thread
