    Well all snow nearly melted here now, but i dont care, im just thrilled to have experienced thunder snow for the first ever time! Think i got a little too over excited though

    im in barnsley too and we have a covering here, not a lot, but its a covering. Fingers crossed for early hours fetching the goods!

    Happy new year all! I see all the excitement in the Mad thread but should we be getting excited as all i see is people from the south lol. Thought i would ask in here if it could deliver for us as we barely get mentioned in there, so hard to tell. I want more snow! haha

    Hi all. Hope everyone had a great christmas. Didnt even know we were expecting any snow until i went on facebook 15 mins ago! Checked metO and looks good, but is it just going to get washed away after a couple of hours?

    my partner is working in halifax and he said it was snowing with the biggest flakes he has ever seen! im gutted, i have made him video it for me haha. I currently have sleet here in wonderful barnsley!
