    21.5c in the lounge. Sun is streaming through the windows for a change.

    Hi Row, no we are in a late 1970s/ early 1980s council house. It does retain heat very well, but not such an advantage during heatwaves.

    Our quilt is really really warm though. If I change to blanket and light quilt I think I'll be more comfortable.

    Yeah same here. I'm just beginning to find it a tad uncomfortable of a night. Going to have to take the winter quilt off.

    We must have a really warm house. Must admit had the heating on last night, but no need during the daytime anymore. Currently 21.5c in the lounge with the window open.

    4.30pm and it's currently 21.0c. Had the windows open for a while, but shut them now as sun has moved past now. We are lucky to have a south facing lounge/garden so it warms up beautifully without heating.

    20.2c at 9am in the lounge. No windows open and no heating needed. Can't wait until the sun moves round, the room is going to be warmer than yesterday.

    Yeah, have a short break to the Essex coast booked for next week. Tues to Thurs. Couldn't have timed it worse if I tried.

    Yep, I agree. It's bloody miserable. Can't remember the last time we had a decent Sunday.

    Finally brightened up this afternoon after a mainly dull and wet day. Can actually see blue sky which is nice.

    Yeah, we will dig out our Hebe soon as there is no life in it at all. So sad as it was a beautiful plant. My Choisya is hanging on by a thread. It's severely wilted but hoping for a turnabout come spring. Then again any really cold weather might just finish it off.

    It's been a warm and sunny day here today. Went out for a lovely walk in the morning. Housework can wait for another day.

    Had snow here late in season 2018. From 26th Feb to 3rd Mar. Not sure what brought that here though.

    Beautiful start to the day here, with spring sunshine. It started to cloud over about lunchtime though and was quite dull come sunset.

    I remember the M11 chaos. Had friends stuck on the M11 near Harlow. Nothing we could do to help, just waiting for news. Cars around here were abandoned and people were attempting to walk home from work.
