Lovely cold frosty day today and a joy to work outside .

If you think that's bad I'm sat here looking out of the window at snow capped hills that are les than two miles away but between them and me it's green and green all around me,now that's frustrating .

No snow heare

One formed a couple of years back and dumped a masive amount of snow over Lancashire and except in the alps it's the most iv ever seen since the 80s . Had a few beefy snow showers this afternoon but still no laying snow on the ground .

Just wet snow here and sunshine but something more organised looks like it's heading this way . I could see plenty of snow on the berwyns this morning but now I can't see them and as I'm typing the sleet is changing to big white flakes .

Just had rain overnight but the grifters are out all ready so let's see what the day brings

I think we could and the temp is dropping now and I can see big black clouds forming in the distance and unlike this afternoon there not getting pushed away with the wind .

Had a couple of snow sleet showers today and with very gusty wind ,current temp is 3 c but feels a lot colder . I'm starting to get hopeful but still as yet now warnings for my area so will just have to wait and see what happens .

Not even a warning of snow here and we have done well this winter so far when ever a warning was issued so don't think we will see anything from this event but still hopefull .

The berwyns have a nice covering of snow this morning but all we have three miles away is ice ,but I'm hopeful we also get a covering this week .

Hi hope it's ok to post in here I'm near wrexham and 5miles from elsmeer Shropshire with a view looking at the Berwyn hills that quite often have white covering on and at present have disappeared from view under heavy black clouds and the temperature has dropped a lot since mid day so hoping that we may see some wintery stuff later on .

Still got heavy snow here in overton near wrexham and the A528 is now tricky as not seen a grittier pass yet and have about three inches on the road
