    Snowing here in Saddleworth - over 300 here, where I live, so I have no idea about the lower areas. I can't see them for the snow

    Wet snow sticking - walls, bins, grass covered. Roads are clear though.

    Woke up to the most snow that we've had this winter, up here near the Church Inn, Uppermill. Roads are treacherous.

    the road from Oldham to Huddersfield is barely passable and there are buses and cars colliding into each other. total gridlock. avoid saddleworth and up to the m62

    Tons of snow here. no buses since 7 and snow still falling. gritters have done main roads but not side roads. covering footprints quickly. lots of roads closed on the peaks.

    probably a couple of inches here. close to the pennines and with elevation. just been out. crunchy, twinkly snow. large flakes still falling, which half covered my footprints after 10 minutes. beautiful.

    I have locked my catflap. they are not going out tonight. they would be blown off fences and under cars. no way.

    just drove over the tops and back to marsden. it is snowing loads over the tops and into marsden, got to go back in 45 mins

    yes. It was no where near this last night. I haven't seen it this bad here since I have lived here, which is 17 years. the front garden etc is not too bad, but the back has it blowing in and not coming out. amazing

    enormous depths here at the top of uppermill. I had to go out and dig a tunnel to my cat flap as my cats were crying for me to open it. when I opened the back door there was a solid drift 4 foot high against it. I knocked all that down then dug the tunnel to the flap. crazy

    I just wish the school would say they were closed - my son has got to go out in 10 minutes if it's open, to catch the bus! And now the website has gone down
