    1c dp unknown Ive had to go to sawbridgeworth a few times in the last week and the very same snow patches are still surviving from the 30th, they just refuse to melt

    1c dp 0 As we were talking about winters of old, I remember I think it was 1987 I was with a mate at west Essex golf course, jumping into 6 foot drifts and disappearing. It was magical.

    Im obsessed with the idea of actually having proper winter weather that corresponds to the season. At the moment im just pleased ive seen snow falls twice this winter. My real passion is thunderstorms though, im drawn to them, literally right underneath them, pow zap, a and e.

    Wow ! Maria, you must work for a friendly courier company . Our courier would be expected to carry the parcels on his back through the snow by his controllers !

    5c dp +1 Just been to Luton to see a customer, drove through puckeridge, baldock, hitchin, scenic route and there was varying degrees of snow / no snow for the entire journey. Very pretty, lovely stuff.

    0c dp -1 Don't know when it fell but we have a partial covering of about 1cm here. Does anyone know what the depths are in sawbridgeworth, epping, bishops Stortford ?
