    Ha ha, actually i like trees, they do look good in a storm though Im just hoping for something photogenic / videographic, i missed out on pretty much all of the TS last year and im eager to get out with the cameras. I just love filming weather events.

    Wednesday is within the warnings timeframe on meto now, wouldnt be surprised to see a yellow later today or tomorrow. Obviously I dont wish for severe property damage or injuries but I would like to film trees having a bad day with my camcorder. woohoo

    12 - 13 c widely in my area, a few breezy gusts maybe 20 mph max. Next weeks storm still showing and I hope gfs upgrades it for my area with severe gusts, big blob of purple on the charts please.

    Saw some leaves and a crisp packet on the move today, no strong gusts at all. I would really like next weeks storm to drop down south about 150 miles, that will do nicely !

    Next Wednesday and Thursday looking interesting now for the SE, still a long way off but something has been showing for quite a few runs now, could be quite windy.

    Hello all, I have asked this on ukww and thought I would ask here too. Im looking to buy my first dslr and want one that also shoots full hd video and although not necessary it would be nice if it also shot true slo mo video maybe 60 fps or 120 fps. And also good low light performance. Im looking at an ebay purchase of no more than 300 quid with a decent telephoto. Any advice from current owners ? Cheers

    Light frost and fog here. Looks like we will all but miss out on the storm that's now showing up, can we have 100 mph gusts here please.................

    Thanks for the comments, nice for it to seen by someone who knows the area. Shame the motion parts are blocky and lacking contrast, tried various methods of encoding the video but youtube couldn't save the full quality.

    Thanks Daniel, was really hoping for one but alas not. We have had frost on some vegetation and obviously the grass but not on the trees. I might have fog tomorrow and maybe a few spots locally might reach minus 3, so more photogenic than today, hopefully.

    I find it fascinating to see big temp differences just a few miles apart. Wheres that well known frost hollow, is it Rickmansworth ?

    I think 'perfect storms' temp is correct, im 10 minutes away and its definitely at least -3 here

    Sadly I do not have a temp gauge, but I can report its feeling very cold in stanstead abbotts. Feels like -3 Your just up the road from me Paul, that's flipping chilly ! Edit- just checked on wunderground minus 3 it is.
