      I got a card from the Royal Mail saying that they tried to deliver a parcel this morning. I did not hear the maisonette intercom or the door bell.  It seems that that the post man quickly knocked the door (not using the door knocker or the door bell) and quickly wrote out a card saying that he tried to deliver it.
