    It waited till I was half way home with LO. Rain and booming thunder. although MK will get hit.

    Just noticed some very Big and some very white cumulus clouds heading my way. If any good will see if I can take a pic but my phone doesn't seem to pic up detail very well

    Just heard some thunder from that cell you lucky people! And yay for My home town Eastbourne getting in on it. Last storm I had there was so bad the sewers couldn't cope for a bit and my toilet backed up. My late dad lived on the sea front then and oh the view. cracking.

    very dark over Mk way, where i am there's a hole in the cloud but cloud all around me. Excited doesn't cover it. Hope LO wasn't too scared. I am greedy. I want more!

    Met office now had that supa thunderstorm symbol by Bedford now.. Oh happy days. Getting dark again so maybe round two is starting to come this way. Even If that storm was my lot today I GOT ONE! Be heading out in a mo so i'll be able to get a better view.

    Watching the radar/clouds ..why does my phone still say cloudy with sunny spells???? Anyway,Usually look at the radar before I head out to collect LO so I know if i need an umbrella for us both as we have to walk, be it only 5mins! Seems we are out of the rain for now but I don't trust that, last week I watched a cell split in two before it reached me and out of no where hail and thunder.

    Yep came from taking little one to school and it build up in minutes..Looks amazing and even think we had a funnel cloud from it so hope i can get the pic off my phone. Normally speaking it rains/thunders just after noon (after little one is safe at school) then will do it again at 3pm (when i go to collect her). Good luck to you as well and 'hears' to next few hours!

    It's is certainly much cooler and fresher here today. Light breeze and the sun is out. Any cloud looks dirty and and not very thundery. But we have some convection so it's better than nothing.

    Had a lovely sunset here. Red and orange. fiery. Happy shepherds then. Not so happy lover of storms. Anyway looks like we *may* get some light rain soon according to the radar, but any thing could happen.

    It has to rain now because on the way back from collecting LO someone was out washing their drive and the window cleaners just been.

    It still has a lot of landfall and then the channel and then still 100's of miles before the storms could hit me. *keeps calm* I actually just expect a bit of rain atm. Anymore would be a bonus.
